Unlocking Luminosity in Painting, Part 2
I’m often asked how I achieve luminosity in my paintings and someone posed that question here on my YouTube channel too. In this video I demo some of the principles I covered in my first video on this topic: Unlocking Luminosity in Painting - Part 1. I encourage you to watch that video as well, where I talk through how I create luminosity by analyzing one of my paintings, a painting by Hudson River School Landscape Painter Frederic Edwin Church and a piece by Abstract Expressionist Mark Rothko.
