Artistic Voice: Exploring the Range of Your Expression

Finding our voice as artists is an ever evolving pursuit and also a multi-dimensional and often complex one. As individuals, we are more than one thing and so it naturally follows our form of expression can often, and possibly always, manifest in several ways. It's certainly true in my case. For more than 40 years I have seen my artistic voice change and evolve. Today, I paint in two "styles" more or less, one that is more architectural and structural in nature and another that is more fluid and ethereal. In this video I talk about artistic range and take you through the development of two paintings in each of these styles. How do you feel about your artistic voice? Do you have more than one and how do you describe them?
