Meaning, Style and Voice

In the art community, we often rely on specific words - meaning, style and artistic voice - to help artists develop and pursue their ideas in an art practice. We use these words because they serve as a guide for artists to understand how to improve, build confidence and make art that conveys what they want to express. In this video, I’ll explain how I view these terms so you can contemplate and pursue, or not, meaning in your art practice - by discovering your voice and finding your language and tools to explore your range of styles. I’ll also try to answer the million dollar question: must all art have meaning? If you'd like to go deeper, consider taking one of my online pre-recorded workshops.
