Inspirational Art Books: de Kooning, Tom & Jack, 9th St. Women

Biographies, autobiographies, histories, exhibit catalogs and art books of all genres give us background, context, understanding and even a sense of camaraderie to help fuel our hearts and minds as we become whole artists making whole art. Today, I talk about three books that have been inspirational, educational and supportive to me in my art making and art mentoring practice. I highly recommend them. If you’ve already read any of these books, I’d love to know what you thought and if and how they influenced you.
