Delving Into Your Personal Treasure Hunt, Part Two

Now that you know what a “personal treasure hunt” is (Watch “Delving into Your Personal Treasure Hunt, Part 1” first), it’s time to get started on discovering your artistic voice. This should be a fun and enlightening exercise. In this video, I guide you through the discovery journey that will reveal how the emotional, intellectual and physical (the triad of the “Whole Artist Mastery” philosophy) informs your visual language - your art.

All you need is a large sheet of blank paper, a Sharpie and a willingness to be honest with yourself. To show you how to be unafraid in this activity, I’ll walk you through my authentic assessment of the triad (emotions, intellectual thoughts and physical places) that leads to my artistic expression. Stay through the process, and I’ll also share a few of my paintings with you and talk about how what I learned in my “personal treasure hunt” helped me to find my artistic voice.
